New single, "Sex, Drugs & Rock 'N' Roll", is out

In the beginning of the 1980's heavy metal was well established as a genre and subculture. About the same time different distinct subgenres started to emerge. One of them was highly popular at the time but remains controversial today. Our new single pays tribute to the glamorous and dangerous glam metal!

Glam metal, also known as hair metal, was ignited by Van Halen in the late 70's but the genre exploded in the mid 80's. Musically the genre is a mix of traditional heavy metal and commercial pop music. Bands like Mötley Crüe, Poison and Bon Jovi ruled the charts and MTV in the second half of the decade with their catchy choruses and distorted guitar riffs. Some glam metal bands leaned over to the metal side, while others were far more melodic.

Our third single "Sex, Drugs & Rock 'N' Roll" pays tribute to this controversial but still so important genre in the history of heavy metal. The song was mixed by the great Beau Hill, who produced bands like Ratt, Warrant, Winger, Europe and Twisted Sister in the glorious days of the genre.

"Don't bore us. Get to the chorus! Can't you see... We just wanna rock!"
